    Drigggs/Jackson fat bike rental?

I've called Fitzgerald's and they won't have fat bikes available to rent until the end of the month. We are heading over this weekend. Any other suggestions on places to rent one? Thanks

You might try The Hub in Jackson, 307-200-6144. As a shop, I like them better than Fitzgerald's.

Dave Hunger at Teton Mountain Bike Tours probably has the most available right now. Why do you want to rent a fat bike right now, if I may ask?

I know Hoback has some available as well.

I'm not sure if there is snow over there right now, but fat bike rentals are pretty limited here in Boise, and it would be nice to check one out before buying it. Thanks for the shop info guys

    Good reason!
Right now, trails are greasy in Jckson, dry in Twton valley...but we have weather coming in. Our soils do not tolerate moisture very well, I would either plan on riding EARLY in the morning (done by 10:00 am?) or waiting until we have real snow. Riding when the trails are greasy is a big no-no faux pas, IMO.
    Enjoy your visit!

Rideit-I am probably one of the biggest advocates for keeping trails in good shape. Sounds like they will be muddy this weekend, if that's the case we will get up early and ride. Hopefully the weathermen are full of S&*^ and the weather holds out for us.

Hell yeah, I'm a food nerd.
Wildlife Brewing for local brew and great Pizza (victor)
    big Hole BBQ (Victor)
    Teton Thai (Driggs)
    forage (fancier, but friendly, Driggs)
brakeman Grill for ridiculous huge burgers (Victor)

Those are the first ones I would hit.
    With family, wife, etc?
Need any reccos in Jackhole, just ask!

I second the Wildlife Brewing for pizza in Victor. The Warbirds Cafe is kinda neat.

rideit, why not a fat bike right now? I totally enjoy riding mine during the summer.

No reason not too, I was just curious. There isn't any 'need' for one yet, but hey, why not?

Rode Horseshoe to Mahogany this afternoon, I won't say there wasn't any mud, but generally pretty good conditions, especially Mahogany. Might rain tonight and tomorrow though.

And here in Driggs I would highly recommend the Royal Wolf- really good pub food and lots of beers on tap.... where the locals go.

Wolf is definitely a 'hidden Gem'.
    Post ride grubstop, for sure.

Excellent recommendation on royal wolf. I think we may just sleep outside so we can eat every meal there!

    New question here.

Horseshoe loops (due west of driggs about 11 miles) is your best bet, go to Habitat or peaked if you can for directions. Bovine - Teton MTB
Aspen trail out and back from North>South> North is your next best option.

Only if It freezes. Otherwise, no way in hell...we don't have conducive soils. Maybe early in the am tomorrow, which could be excellent.
