    For Christmas I got...

... a ride in. Asphalt, dirt road and a little singletrack. Irishbuddha wasn't kidding about looking out for falling rocks in Rocky Canyon.

Wast that you I saw on Fort by Co-op?
Glad you got a little ride in.

I went up 8th street and it was okay for a ways but started to get sloppy past the parking lot and intersection with 4/Hulls

Yeah that was me. I saw you with your Enduro on top.

When conditions are like they are, any time on a bike is better than no time on a bike.

    How was Rocky Canyon?
I'm going to try that tomorrow or next week, just to get some pedaling in

It's still pretty wet and bordering on muddy even 8th Street

Bastardo! You must have gotten out pre-rain. What singletrack isn't complete and utter soup right now? (I got in a 4 mile run in the rain. Whoopee. At least I put about 70 miles on the road bike in the last 2 days to keep from going absolutely stir crazy.)

However, when the trails are rideable again, I will now have warm, happy feet...

The first mile or so of Five Mile Creek. That's all I rode off road.

Someone with fat tires absolutely trashed the connector from Shanes down to Rocky Canyon. Not a pretty sight.

Glad to see you're enjoying the Poprad. Perfect bike for this time of year and weather.

Speaking of riding in the wet and muck, I have a set of brand new fenders for 700c wheels that I was going to put on my Cross Check and never got around to it before I sold it. I'll trade them for beer if you want them.

We're talking Pabst Blue Ribbon - the "Chardonnay of beers." I think a 12 pack runs about $8. I only buy the good stuff for the professional wrenches that work on my bikes.
