    CDT-Grizzly Hill Area, Leadore, ID

Went for a ride on the Continental Divide Trail in the Grizzly Hill area approx 7 miles north of Leadore, ID. This ride follows the CDT on the Montana/Idaho state line from the Grizzly Hill Electronic Site north toward Goat Mountain. It is approximately 7.5 miles of nice singletrack from road end to road end. Elevation ranges from 9,200 feet to 8,400 feet along this section of trail. Trail difficulty is probably intermediate. Trail is open to non-motorized uses. The trail tread is faint in some areas. We rode 6.4 miles out and thunderstorms were popping up so turned around at that point. Some representative photo's are attached.

Super trail and photos. The CDT is so important. I'm glad you can get out to visit these sections. I sure like the country, high and lonesome.
I don't know what trail we're on, but at least it's getting dark
