    Canfield Suggestions

So I've been a CDA neighbor my whole life and I usually ride Bernard Peak and Caribou Ridge once a month. For some reason I've never hit Canfield and I hear its cool.

Trail suggestions? Directions? Anyone wanna ride sometime?

    Thanks
    C

Wow, no Canfield love! Oops just saw this was from last year....
Trails are wider, some interesting ruts from the dirt bikes, but I still enjoy it occasionally.

I like this one, go up penn, up 7, up D, down D, east on dirt road, down 9, down 8, down cave. Sometimes instead of over to 9, i'll go down 6 and back across A to get back to cave trail down.

3 and 9 are both fun if you like steep loose downhill.

They have been doing some trail work recently, and with the dry weather it's like riding a sandy beach.... Needs rain badly.
I'm always up for a ride

Is that the one that goes north towards Hayden lake off D? I haven't went down there yet...one of these days.
That one is shared with horses correct?

Yup. I ride it just about every week, since I live near there, but haven't seen a horse yet. Have seen some manure on occasion, so apparently they do use it sometimes.

I would stay off of cave. The trail work has turned the trail into 4 inches of duff.

along with penn, A..... Need rain, hate to say it but it's true. Kind of amusing seeing clouds under the tires....
