    Bogus Basin Lifts

Tomorrow (7/29/12) is Bogus basins Big Mountain Roundup, the lifts are open for mountain bikes. From looking at the Bogus trail map there doesn't appear to be any trails that run from the top of Superior lift to the bottom. What's up with that? There must be something I don't know.

There are lots of unmarked service roads, trails, and ski runs from the top of shafer butte. It was lots of fun. I'm not sure why they only do it once a year, why they scheduled it the same day as a big downhill race elsewhere, and why the boise gravity shuttle wasn't running at all.

And at the end of the day, you can take one last lift up, cruise over the ridge road to mahalo, then come back down to boise via hard guy, dry creek, or 8th. I picked hard guy, but dry creek was seeing lots of traffic.
