Zero Stack Headset, 1 1/8" Steer Tube on HD

Not much choice out there, Cane Creek and Chris King is it.

I want to run a zero stack headset using a Fox Van 36 with 1 1/8" steer tube. The geometry is already 66deg HA with a 180mm fork, though the Ibis website does not specify what axle-to-crown height that HA is based on. I want to keep the front end from raking out too much hence my preference for a zero stack headset. I'll be running my Van at 170mm. Seems like a good compromise.

Prefer Chris King but they don't sell separate assemblies/top&bottom.

    Cane Creek, prone to creaking?

    Anyone?

Are you sure the top of the CSU will not hit the downtube when turned?

Uh, good point. I don't know. I'm trying to figure out a headset.

Can more of you small owners chime in?

I posted this in another thread but I thought it should be here as well. Will RS Monarch Plus Fit a Small HD?

The knobs will hit with a zero stack on the Small HD. You will need to use a regular headset.

Will a zero stack lower cup make my 180 talas fork hit the downtube of a XL MOJO HD when turned?

Im resorting to zs lower cup because my fork (1 1/8)is a bit short for an ec upper and lower. My 2degree works headset ec44/zs49 is on its way.
