    XX1 on 135 x 12 HD

I have looked through the threads on HD compatibility and most of the posts are in regards to the 142 x 12 rear end.

Anyone managed to fit an 11 speed cassette on the original (135 x 12) HD rear end?

Would really like to hold onto this bike for another year...

No problem with my 135x12 HD. Doesn't rub at all in any gear combination so it seems to fit even better than 142x12? Running DT240 rear hub.

I recently installed X01 on my first generation Ibis HD 135x12mm, with a Hadley rear hub.

Although there is enough frame clearance while riding in the 10 tooth cog, I noticed that when shifting from the 12 tooth down to the 10 tooth cog; as the chain lifts off the cassette between cogs, the chain would just barely contact the inside of the chain stay/seat stay yoke.

This was easily remedied by sliding a $0.30 washer at the end of the hub between that and the frame.

The bike shifts perfectly and I have no regrets.

Maybe ask Northshore Billet to make a dedicated derailleur hanger for the 135x12mm rear. Just like Ibis offers for the 142.

Right now, I'm still using the washer which does work fine.
