I have high hopes for the X-Fusion products. I want to try the Vector Air to replace the shock on my Mojo HD. Maybe it's just me being cheap and not wanting to spend the extra $ for the DB Air

he won the world cup XC eliminator trophy, therefore he is the owner of that trophy. Not of xfusion.

Yep, poorly worded but that statement is about him owning the trophy.

    lol

That the Mojo HD does not work and needs to be traded for a Foes FXR?

He should have tried something like the Vivid Air for the type of riding he does.

I tried telling him that, but he figured that two weeks was enough.

I think that there's more than the money to make a Brian Lopes change his suspension sponsor. So the real question is: Why doesn't he use X-Fusion dropper post?

btw: Is there any connection between this thread's title and its content?

many pro's have sponsorship's with companies that make the same products and their contracts determine which exact products they use. AFAIK, lopes was with KS prior to his x-fusion deal and being contractually obligated with KS he cannot just stop using their product to use a different sponsors similar product.

    Cause the forks rip.

I just built up an HD with a X fusion Vengeance. It feels excellent. If not better and stiffer than a Fox, Rock Shox doesnt even compare.
    And they are cheaper.
    Win Win.

    Nice,
Is the vengence @ 170mm? Do you know what the head angle with the 170mm vengance is on the hd?

Measure it - it's the only way to know.

Measured my HD with a Rev at 150mm, no Angelset with 2.35 High Rollers and it came out at 67.8

    Sure!

Yesterday i measured one with stock spz tires, -1° angleset and a 160mm talas. Got 65.8° with my Iphone. Thats -0.2° from the theory.

    No, it's the 2011 160mm version
170 would be a little much for me.

This fork is just plush as can be, amazed at every DH I hit...feels bottomless.

I just came home from a bike demo event. Ibis was there and so was X-fusion. I rode a ibis hd with rp23 + 160 talas. Then rode the hd that X-fusion had setup with x-fusion rear air shock and a vengeance coil 170. I rode these bikes back to back on the same trail. This is a trail that Fox and Mark Weir were out running suspension tests on a couple weeks ago. I'm not a pro bike tester, but I know what I like and the X-fusion hd rode nicer to me than the hd with fox kit. X-fusion is putting out some good stuff

I've said it before about the 160 talas. . . like riding a brick. Don't even know why they bother. Float seems pretty good. . .
