When would Ibis potentially announce something new?
So I'm looking to upgrade from my Mojo SL to an HD. The SL is a size too small (figured out a year into riding it) and the small things like the head angle and non-taperd head tube are just annoying me too much after a few years.
When I bought my SL, LITERALLY 2 days later, Ibis released the SL-R. Granted I wasn't reading forum chatter, but it seemed like that came without warning.
So needless to say, I don't want to upgrade to an HD with an upgraded frame looming in the near future.
Although its impossible to know with the way Ibis keeps everything hush hush, when do you all think the greatest probability of an announcement is? Interbike? Dealer Camp?

Something is always being worked on and/or improved upon. Buy the best that fits your style *today* without worrying what is to come. You cannot certainly go wrong with an HD today...

There always might be something better coming up. Might.
But right now, the HD is.

Replace "better" with "newer". And just because it's newer, doesn't make it better. Look at the Bronson as an example.

My advice: buy a used HD to minimize cash outlay. More likely than most to hold its (used) value if/when Ibis releases something new & you decide to flip it. Ride the hell out of it until that happens (perhaps never!).

No way, they need to bring back the Trials Comp! I need a fork for mine, but sure would love to see that bike reintroduced again.
Good friction shifting is getting hard to find nowadays....

Well that didn't take long...

It would appear that they are unveiling a 650B Mojo HD next week.

If you like to have the latest and greatest then wait for the release next week. Keep in mind Ibis may not have your size available right away.
I really want a Ripley, but can't bare to part with my HD....owning both right now is not quite in the budget. The HD is just that good.
