    Wheel/Dropout question - Mojo SL

Just got a set of Mavic Crossmax wheels. Trying to figure out my options for the rear wheel. Don't see a 10 mm adapter online and it wasn't provided by Mavic.

Should i just use the QR or can I get adapters somewhere? The QR looks sketchy as it only fits into about half of the dropouts on either side.

Anybody advice is welcome - thanks!

Is it the correct axle standard? If so, it should work. If it's a through axle hub, then, you'll need adapters or a different wheel.

A photo would help if you have a chance.

    Hello Zander,

Tom from Ibis. What do you mean by 10mm adapter? It sounds like the CrossMax wheels you have were set up for a rear QR, right? If yes, that is a 10mm axle.

As far as the Mavic QR, we have not heard of problems with the CrossMax QR's on the Mojo SL.

If you can clarify your issue I might be able to help you find an answer.

    Take Care,
    Tom

Thanks for responding. I was hoping to use the thru axle QR that came with the stock Ibis wheels. I believe it's a 10 mm.

The mavic QR does work but the part of the QR adapter that sits in the dropout only fills about half of the dropout on either side if that makes sense. I thought it may fill more when the QR is closed as it would draw the sides together but that isn't the case. Even when closed it only fills half of the dropout.

I can post pics if necessary.

I'm not aware of Mavic making a 10mm adapter like that.

As far as the Mavic QR adapter only filling half the drop out, I'm not sure what you mean by that. Photos would help.

I'm good - local shop looked at it and ensured me all is well.

Thanks for the quick response - one of the many reasons why I own an Ibis. You guys pay attention to your customers. I appreciate it!
