What size foam tubing to wrap SL-R

    I know, strange ask.
Packing the Sl-R up for a plane ride and want to provide extra protection to the frame and fork by wrapping it with the foam tubing that is used for insulating plumbing pipes.

I'm not sure what size to get-the tubes on the slr range from ~2inches diameter for the toptube to upwards of 3 for the downtube and around 1 for the rear triangle.

Anyone done this and can offer insight to save me time?

What size foam tubing to wrap SL-R

I used standard foam pipe insulation from the plumbing aisle of the hardware store on the rear triangle of mine, but used sheets of foam from the arts and crafts store for the front triangle since it's so....uhhh.....shapely

buy one of those cheap pool noodles, then cut in half.

Cut out the inside to match the diameter you need.
