@Fassn8: Internal cable routing is a great idea and more color options. Hope Ibis will integrate this to the HD!

@hans - out of interest, what does Mr Lopes think should be the evolution of the HD?

If i remember correctly he's been pretty outspoken about his dislike for 29 inch wheels - does he feel similarly about the 27.5?

Anyway, the guy clearly knows whats up, and was an integral part in making the current HD such an awesome platform. Would be interested to have some insight into his thinking.

26" updated HD, longer TT (or shorter ST) , slacker angles... with improved cable routing.
Maybe a lighter version for those who avoid big air now....

Here are my five new idea's , I don't think they're all new models.
    1. Make a DH/ park bike with around 8-10" of travel.

2.make a women specific model with proper paint and a super lightweight build.

    3. Give us some paint options and more choices. Maybe six colors and matte or glossy finishes. How about offering custom decal options?
    4. A long haul/ city/ cyclocrossy bike.
    5. A carbon fibre wheelchair/ hand pedal fully suspended mountain machine.

    Idea!

I'd like see a glossy clear SL-R where you can see the depth of the carbon like these DT Swiss forks

Also when can we expect a Red/Black SL-R frame?

Something like these Intense & Specialized frames...

A dedicated commuter might not be Ibis's thing, but I will be in the market for a new commuter bike soon. Seems belt drive internal gear hub is all the rage in the commuting world these days. I really like what Specialized did with their Source Eleven bike.
    Perhaps Ibis can outdo them?

    To Mr. Iclique,
Your black and red request is what I was thinking on the decal sets: make the decals in different colors, so that you can make a red and black bike, a white and red bike. Etc...

It's been said a bunch of times already: Hakkalugi Disc w/ 135mm rear spacing. But I don't need those silly rack or fender mounts.

Black lung with SRAM Red hydro disks. Mmmm... delicious.

Larger sizing. Longer TT's and longer wheelbases. Especially on the XL

A lot has been said already... I love my HD. Ibis rocks and it's CS it's top notch.

    My take,

Actual target weight frames, HD could be a bit lighter compared to what's on the market now, SLR too.

A more aggressive SLR, I mean, slacker head angle, a bit longer wheelbase, basically an HD 140, but lighter.

A chip or linkage to make the HD140 650B geo more acceptable, lower BB...

Replace the gray, white and orange SLR colors with a good blue, green and some black/red as already suggested.

Integrated down tube and chain stay protectors a la Pivot 575 carbon.

Quieter bikes, less chain slap... just a bit less....

That's it, I care not for 29er's or road bikes, or hardtails... or cyclocross
The world needs a huge socio-economic change...be it. We all need to ride more....

Please make an HD in an XL with a longer top tube or an XXL. It is almost impossible to find a Carbon wonder bike with a 25.5-26 length. I purchased one of the first Mojo HD's in an XL and am sad to say that after trying to make it fit it is now for sale...Please guys, make an XXL, please. The only bike that I can find that will fit my 6'6" frame is a SB66 since the big S is no longer making the Enduro in an XL....And if you could make it 650b that would be even sweeter. If you do I will come back to Ibis...

    Seriously !!!!
We are talking 'bout new frames here, not cosmetic ...

Why don't you go & see someone to make a custom paint for you only ?
If done by a pro, don't think it would void the warranty ?

A friend of mine had gone this way :

To Ed the young master . Did you read my original five list. It included three new frame choices. There are a number of other posters that want internal cable routing( which is basically cosmetic). I think Ibis should come out with new frames and new customization options too. That's what makes a great company better: innovate on a large AND small scale.

Btw, the bike in that picture looks pretty awesome. It is the first custom ibis mojo that I have ever seen.

I have no other thoughts apart from my new SLR would go faster if it wasn't just a frame in a box.

Really hoping that it wouldn't be just the hakkalugi disc for 2013. C'mon ibis bring it on...
