    What rear shock????
Hey guys, just wondering what shocks people were running on their sl's I've got the old dt swiss carbon one on there at present but i've made it go all squelchy and instead of paying to get it serviced etc I think i'd rather invest that money in a slightly more butch number for all mountain use. So what would people recommend?

Monarch RC3 Plus will transform the bike. I have also heard great things about the new DB Air.

But careful which volume/tune you choose on the monarch plus rc3. I'm still trying to figure which one is the correct for my weight/riding style and where to buy.

    M/L is the recommended setup

    Medium compression / low rebound?

On another thread push industries suggest high volume and M/M (if you go stock).

Can you point us some webstore that have the M/L in stock?

Thanks salespunk! Shopping right now there, not sure which one is the correct:

    - high volume low tune: Item #:49644-115985

    - high volume mid tune: Item #:49644-115988

Btw, you can change the tune by yourself?

I haven't tried the Monarch, but really love my DB Air. In fact I like it a lot more than the RC4 that I was using previously. I didn't expect that. You probably can't go wrong with either air shock.

I run a Pushed Monarch plus on my HD. My understanding on Standard vs. High volume is that its quite dependent on rider weight (among other factors). Heavier rider = standard, Lighter rider = high volume. I'm 220 lbs, so Push recommended against high volume for me.

Thanks for the info guys. Is anybody running the X fusion rear shocks yet and can give any feedback as I can normally get a good deal on x fusion stuff.

I have heard good results on the XFusion. I am picking one up for my buddy next week and will try mounting it up for a comparison.

I'm running an X-Fusion Vector Air with the HD tune. It's awesome! Feels great on the downhills, and pedals very well too. I've been very very happy with mine.

Thanks! Low tune would be ok i guess but after read a lot seems that the low compression / med rebound is the one, but no look finding one new or second hand. Anyway, i'm reading about the bos vip'r, would be a good match to my deville.

I'm also running the X Fusion Vector Air HLR with the HD tune. Bought it from The Bike Company (bikeco.com). Been running it for nearly a year now, love it.

I also have the Vector Coil. Buttery smooth on the downhills! The HD feels awesome on the DH's with the coil but it didn't feel as efficient as the air on the uphill. Could totally be a "settings" issue for the coil. I felt like I got almost all of the benefits of the coil with the air plus it was a pound lighter. If you're in San Jose, CA or general area, you're welcome to try my coil.
