SL and HD sizing?
Hi all, test rode a Large SLR today, perfect sizing.
I've been told a medium HD is similar in size due to geometry differences, true?

Nope. The HD's top tube is a hair longer, less than 1/4", so if you're smack dab in the middle of the size range of the large, you'll also be a large on the HD. If you were in between sizes it might be different, but it doesn't sound like that's the case.
It's possible they were referring to the wheelbase, in which case the large SL would be closer to the medium HD, but then they're not addressing a fit issue...

I have both in my garage. Both are large, same stem, same seat, both with straight seat posts. The SL is longer when measuring seatpost to stem, despite having a shorter top tube length on paper. The difference is minimal, so if a large SL/SLR/MojoC fits, the a large HD/HDR will fit.
