Well at least I know my Ripley "will" catch sweet air, even though I'm sure Lopes could rip it in a wheelbarrow with a flat tire.

Sure makes any bike look good, one of the few riders Ive seen that look normal on a 29er going hard.

Looks totally different to when you watch him pedal a 26" bike, still cool though!

Pretty sure you can win that bike.
They usually have a bike raffled off that Brian Lopes has ridden.

I was down there today and they are raffling off a Ripley.

    Really good day.

Fox helped me dial my suspension. Ks pointed out that the dropper was ( shop ) installed incorrectly and I9 showed me what my next set of wheels will be( Enduro).

Nice, slightly envious of you being theyre, would love to go haha.

Be interesting to hear ya ride thughts on the dialing in Fox did.

Seen this today, just what weve been asking for from Fox, hopefully its available to 13 stuff.

The bike is starting to feel connected. I sped up the rebound by a click front and rear.
According to Fox I could speed it up one more click, but I don't think my riding speed is there yet.
Descending without the seatpost up is good , but requires a lot of stamina to hold the form without pinching the seat with your knees.

They also changed the damper to a dual circuit from a single circuit. Big difference there as well.

Was he 2nd or 3rd last year? Maybe its because he's not used to doing dh on a niner bike? How say you, guys?

I like the Ripley, but I reckon he would have been faster on the HD with Slant 34, HLR air shock!

GM was only .36seconds back on Gwin and he was on a 10" full DH bike, its still about the rider imo as slack as that course is!

I just think people over-analyse the wheel-size debate just a little bit too much. There was representation from all wheel sizes and styles of bike. It was a very equal field. It should hopefully silence some of the naysayers that didn't believe that a 29er can keep up with a 26" on the DH stuff though.

At the end of the day it's about choosing the right tool or what feels like the right tool for you, in order to do a job most effectively.

Oh no, actually it should be all about having fun on bikes and looking at the photos and videos that's exactly what all the riders were doing!

Not really a DH course per say. It is jumps and a few berms and open masher sections. A lot of guys rode 29 there probably because of the extra momentum they carry for all the straights. Times were so close together there really are no conclusions to be drawn on anything. other than its obvious the pros can jump 29rs without too much problem. probably dead sailor, but still

saw a tranny 650b. There has to be a tranny 29er in the pipeline. Just makes sense. I really thought I'd see one at sea otter, but the bronson seemed to take most of the press.

stans is testing their carbon wheels.

the buy/sell ibis team can drink beer, well.

scott lent me his own personal silk for a test ride.

hans was too busy to drink beer, so the booth guys "confiscated it"

Who is the masters woman who was racing CX in the ibis kit on the new disc hak? Smokin fast
