I was looking at the reported sagged BB heights on Ibis website and found that the stated sagged bottom bracket height was lower on the HD 160 (no reported sagged height on the 140) despite a higher unweighted.

SL-R 314mm (12.36inches)
HD-160 304mm (12 inches)

So is this why the HD rails corners so well?

Is the fact that the RP-23 blows through its mid travel mean that when going into a turn the effective BB is even lower and therfore corners even better? I have noticed that my shock blows through travel, but have not placed the spacers because I almost never feel it actually bottom out (though it does quite oftern). I am now thinking there may be an advantage to it dipping into its travel with high g turns.

Thanks, I know stuck in my office thinking about riding instead of riding.
