    RP23 Reducers..

How much life have you been getting out of the foward shock bushings? I'm at about 500 miles of colorado singletrack and play has developed. Does this seems reasonable? Just checking. Thanks

I've changed shocks (and reducers) a few times on my Mojo in the year I've owned it. The longest time one shock was on the bike was about 3/4 year and only about 1500 miles (I was off the bike with an injury for 2 months of that time). The reducers and bushings showed some loosening when I changed that shock out but not more than other bikes - actually less. My previous two bikes with Fox shocks never got more than 6 - 8 months bushing life out of one end of the shock that had more pivot rotation.

Wet and muddy conditions accelerate the bushing and reducer wear a lot.

Be sure to keep oil away from them. Some oils could possibly dissolve the plastic coated bushing and allow dirt in for rapid reducer wear.

Do I get them directly from Fox, or is there an easier way?
