    Ripley with Talas

Has anyone tried this yet? Does it work as well in 120 as 140 as they are claiming? So you could leave it in 120 most of the time and 140 for DH? I am torn between the two fork lengths and would love the option to have both .. But did not like my 2012 talas on my mojo HD. Converted it to a float.

What year TALAS? I assume your talking about the 2014 one, the special spec'd 120/140, as the default is 110/140 (what I am using). The new TALAS is light years ahead of it's predecessors, and almost feels like an entirely different fork. I might add a spacer and make mine 120/140. I leave mine in 140 most of the time, unless I am doing lots of climbing, but it should feel pretty decent in 120 for long periods of time. I have gotten used to the 140, and it only occasionally takes some effort to get it to work in slow speed tech sections.
