    Ripley rear suspension question.

    Hi guys,
I'm about to build a Ripley with a Pike 140 or 150. I was wondering what rear shocks people have tried? I am a big fan of the Monarch, but can't seem to find any input. How about the CCDB? is this overkill? I found the Fox on my 429C to be harsh.
Is it true that my only option for a bash guard is on the cranks?

I'm sorry if this post is redundant.

    Regards,

    Brian

CCDBA not an option as far as I know. Not sure what other piggy backs are available in that stroke. I'd check out the XFusion Microlite. I'm not a fan of the Float CTD.
