    Ripley crank swap? (X0 GXP cranks, Wolf tooth ring)

    I am considering swapping out the TRS+ cranks that came with the X01 build for a different crankset to get a smaller ring (instead of just getting the e*Thirteen chainring and proprietary tool...)

    Can anyone confirm that I have all the required parts to do the swap - including that the specified BB will work?

    Hope I'm not too late.
    Make sure to get the 168 q factor cranks. 156 is not wide enough and wont have enough clearance.
    I just got bit by this bug and it is a pain in the a**

    I ended up ordering the X01 cranks , which SRAM specified the q-factor as "wide". Hopefully these work, as I have been without the bike for almost two weeks now just sitting in the shop.

    They are going to be a little more expensive but the Race Face Next SL Clinch are worth every penny. Convertible to any chainring combination including a 425g (complete crankset) 1x direct mount ring and the replacement chairings are cheaper than sram. 30mm spindle is very stiff and the BB92 30mm bottom bracket has performed flawlessly and without a single creek or squeak.

    This crank can handle double chainrings?
    A bicycle will take you to fantastic places....if you let it.

    Yes this crankset can be run as a double, tripple or 1x. It can also be used on just about any frame even though it has a 30mm spindle provided you use the correct Raceface bottom bracket.

    You can even purchase the crankset as a double and then convert it to 1x or a tripple down the road.
