My New (to me) Ibis Mojo SL....

I have a great wife! We just bought a small mtn house in the Reno, NV area in the hill above town, and my wife's goal is to make it simple and easy when we head up there from the bay area. One problem--my mtn bike. I have a stumpy which I really like, but my wife said that I needed to get another bike and keep one up there. So this past weekend I found what looked like a good deal on a 2010 Mojo SL with a killer build kit (below). The bike was custom built for the owner who ended up hardly using it. The bike has 350 miles on it, and is in great shape...only a few minor cosmetic things one would expect. I swapped saddles and grips and have beefier tires on order, but otherwise I am going to keep the bike the way it was built. I think I'm going to leave my stumpy in the mtns as it is a little bit 'beefier' than the mojo and use the latter for lower elevation riding in and around the bay area. I've attached some pics of the bike, sure hope I like it as much as everyone else seems to!

Looks good man. My buddy just got a '10 SL. Being new to ibis myself, I was pretty impressed.

Just got off my first shakedown ride on the mojo...really plush ride as I expected, plusher than my stumpy. I was able to do all the climbs that I normally do and while there was probably a bit more movement than with my stumpy, it was just fine. The bike is very comfortable for me which was also a worry. It seems like a great bike!

Hah! Zero chance of that, I am totally tapped out on bikes now with the Mojo, the Stumpy at our mtn retreat, and a trek road bike...but I can't wait to take the Mojo on a longer ride to really get a feel for it. This has a super build kit but not all the latest bells and whistles (3x9 instead of 2x10, not as much adjustability on the suspension), but it seems to work just fine. I love the R1 brakes by the way, they seemed much better than the sram xx on my stumpy.

It is also a pretty good looking bike I think.
