    My Ibis Silk Photo Essay...

OK, I've finally got my two Ibis bikes together. Weight to come as my digital scale is broken. Here's the first photo shoot featuring my 53cm Silk Road bike...

    That is simply stunning!

By the way, I saw a Kestrel carbon road bike yesterday. It's more like Mojo in some ways. And the dropouts were aluminum assemblies that went up a few inches to the stays. I didn't look long at it.

My Alpine scale replacement is on the way. As soon as it arrives I'll post the weight for both bikes. I'm hoping for ~15# on the Silk and ~25# on the Mojo, but we'll see what the scale says.

    How about ride quality...

While I'm sure the weight is impressive, I'd like to ask you what you think of the ride. A few questions for you:

    1) How tall are you and how much do you weight?

    2) How do you rate the bottom bracket and front end stiffness of the frame?

    3) What other carbon road bikes have you owned/ridden?

    4) How would you rate the comfort of the frame?

    5) What don't you like about the frame?

    Ibis Silk Carbon

Well I was actually looking for different information about this bike. I purchased a Silk 3 weeks ago w/Sram Force group. It came out to be 15.58 Ibs without any add-ons.
