    mojo sl rear tire clearance?

looking for some feedback on what people were/are running in the rear on the mojo sl. I bought a used frame to build up as 26.

this will be my first fs bike and just trying to get some concrete info. did some searching on this topic and basically found conflicting info but seems 2.4 is the max but sometimes wont work depending on other factors.

my rims will be stans flow ex.....medium frame...i'm 155lbs.....riding in austin tx so lots of loose over hard and rock gardens/ledges...i'm pretty new to the sport but love to rail corners and need good climbing traction on slick rocks.

if anyone has specific info of larger volume wide tires that have worked without problems please let me know.

    was considering:
    nobby nic 2.35
    ardent 2.4

I have no rubbing with Kenda Slant Six and Nevegal 2.35 on Derby 40mm Carbon wheels. I did rub on big bumps when I had my Crankbrother XC cobalts wheels on the 2.35.

Close, but no rubbing with 2.4 Conti MK on Industry Nine Torch Enduro 26 wheels. Conti Mountain King (gen 1) is definitely not a full 2.4" wide tire though.

I ran Nevegal 2.35, Slant6, and Conti trail king 2.2 on original Flows on mine when I had 26" wheel on the back with no problems...it will take some fairly chunky rubber, but if you cram the largest tire the chainstays will allow, you might get some seat tube rub at bottom out.
