Mojo SL: any issues for clydes?
I know at my weight HD is the answer, but can't afford one. I have found great deals on used SL's and the Special Blend. But are there any concerns for a heavier rider?
I weigh 230 au naturale. Clothes, shoes, helmet and a camelback push that number up of course. With the bike be able to handle this?

I'm roughly the same weight, NO issues.

The only thing i'd suggest is some sort of bolt on rear axle or DT RWS style skewer. Running King Fun Bolts made a big difference for me in terms of firming up the rear end. I have both an HD and an SL and while i prefer the HD, i do enjoy the snappy lightness of my SL also.

I was around 230 lbs when I started riding my SL. No problems, but it did need a lower bearing change after 6 months. Wasn't a big deal at all.

I run 250 plus gear on a SL with Flow rims, carbon seatpost, carbon handlebars with no problems in 2 years.
