A little unedited vid from a ride I did in Arizona over the Thanksgiving holiday.

This is the waterfall section on the National Trail in the South Mountain preserve (plus a little of the trail afterward). I had planned on taking another line on the lower section of the waterfall, but I was thrown off by some kid checking out the section on foot...so I had to do a track stand and find a new ad hoc line...it all worked out though...

Here are a few photos of the section:

Such a killer ride. Do you live in PHX? I have been thinking of heading out there in January for some riding.

yeah 30 shots in 3 secs is what I usually use with the handlebar remote - which surprisingly is still fairly tight time-wise, once you hit the button etc.

That looks like a good long trail with some fun little jumps all the way down. Where is that? Also, hard to tell but is the cam on your bike or are you in front of it? On the new HDR?

I need to jump down there and get a proper tour of LaCosta some day...

Cmarshack that is a local place in Poway. There is some really crazy stuff out there way beyond this trail. Let me know when you want a tour and we will do it up right.

I just looked at your website Pete. The shot of your rear tyre going through the puddle on the fire ban day rides is superb. Was that on the GoPro?

Apparently this year I'll be taking it to its 7th season at Whistler. And I ain't even afraid of anything on it breaking.

I am never selling this bike.

Thanks dudes. Haha yeah I need a helicopter and it also helps that he rides twice as fast as I do. It's crazy how far that guy flies off the jumps in his vid.

Keep thinking I want to sell my HD and get a new 650 bike. But everytime I look at it, and ride it, I tell myself to keep it a little longer.

    It's still an amazing bike!

    ^THIS! So true.

I keep eyeballing new bikes too, but I can't turn away from the fact that my Mojo is just a ripping fast and fun bike. Even the new Mojo prototype 150mm 650b . . . I'm like . . . could it really be THAT much better to justify me dropping $6k on a new whip?

And the other thing I love is how I can convert it from 140 to 160 to Park mode by swapping out the forks and shocks. I've done everything from endurance racing to multi-day stage races to enduro to Whistler Bike Park on this thing!

Just weighed my HDR which is set up for 26" with a Pike and Vivid Air, dropper post, platform pedals, and 2.5 Minions... 28.8 lbs! I can climb all day on this thing and then rip the DH on the way down. Unbelievable.

I'm always looking for new people to ride with. If you are on the Front Range, shoot me a PM and let's go ridin'.

I goofed when I said it was keystone, as that's obviously Trestle. That said, keystone on Saturday and winter park on Sunday makes for a great weekend of riding.

I know it's not all that impressive. Action shots are hard to come by when all you want to do is ride.

my02, those are some rad shots.

I went to Thailand a year ago and Dirt Rag has an article on the trip in issue #188. I put together a video with my GoPro footage from the trip and here's what I came up with. Now I need to find an appropriate trip for my HD3!

Cheers Mr Dub. I'm quite pleased with them considering they were taken on an iPhone 4.

Love the vid of Thailand. Whereas it's great to see pure riding vids, I like those with a bit more scenery and background.

Filmed a bunch of years ago, but never released because I wanted to finish. Well, I now live 800 miles away from this trail, so fug it. You can see the baby head in the last clip that blows up my tire, thus ending the filming for that day. fwiw i was pretty close to kom on this trail at the time, but that aint sayin sh!t, cuz it's less than 2 mins long, but it is chundery. I know plenty of peeps who don't strava who destroy me. Particularly Phos, on the same exact bike. I digress...

lmao, rotoscoping in after effects. It's one dude in a single clip hitting the jump. I chop him out frame by frame, then layer that chop out over and over again, staggering the layers so they are trailing each other. That probably makes no sense whatsoever if you've never opened up after effects...
