Wish I got some shots of some riding I did today. Probably not big by some people's standards but was pretty good for me. Can't believe how much this bike loves to be ridden.

I see your handlebar mount won't stay tight either

Apparently it is made for riding road bikes.

That's why I prefer the chest mount, the view is much less twitchy, stabilized, and the mounted doesn't come loose.

I can finally post an action shot! Haha. From the Capitol Forest Classic Super D today. My first race and only second time down the trail. I placed 5th of 7 in the Sport(Cat II) male 19-29 category. There were a few photogs snapping shots on the way down. Hopefully I can find the others later(including me demonstrating the tuck n roll technique OTB) but this for now.

The stock mutano rear Weir front. They stuck really well in the forested areas and lower half but washed out more than once in the dry loose clearcuts up top. Lack of skill played a large part too I'm sure.

I have found the chesty to provide sucky angles on my go pro hd. I've been playing around with the chesty trying to get the right angle, you really have to build the mount out and point it toward your chin almost to get it right when riding aggressively.

Easy to fix, just flip the gopro upside down in the chest mount (where the quick-release clip attaches). Then switch the recording mode to UpD (upside down). If you don't have that mode you'll need to download the firmware update. Then you get plenty of range to rotate it to a good angle.

ahhh, that makes sense, I bought mine last year, not sure if I have that feature. Kinda sucks as... my computer won't recognize my gopro. I have a dell latitude laptop an it doesn't recognize it as a "usb mass storage device" like the directions say. I've even sent it back to go-pro to have it fixed, an they say there is nothing wrong with it. EVERYTHING else I hook to my computer works great.

Cool, I didn't know that's how it's done. Need to get a GoPro myself.

IMO, the chest mount produces the most interesting footage. Feels the most like you're actually riding.

yup, checked windows update for any driver updates. can't figure it out, I turn it on and plug it in, it makes the sound like it's connected but the camera never says "usb" like it's supposed to and it's NOWHERE to be found in my computer, not even in add or remove hardware etc......

    Hey Manchvegas,

A little computer experience here. If it is making the sound like it finds the driver but no drive shows up, it could be that it is trying to acquire a drive letter that has been used before and therefore windows does not show it. Try this: plug it in and let it go through and find the hardware as normal. Then go to " computer management" and follow that tree until you find what looks like it might be the drive you are looking for. Then change the drive letter to something obscure like "W" and see if it pops up then. I have had to do this numerous times for thumb drives. You can do a search for "computer management" to find it, or navigate through the Control Panel.

    Good luck.
