Jeff Kendall Weed is leaving Ibis

I just saw it on Ibis FB page, JKW is leaving Ibis.
no mention on where he is going.
    Good luck to him.

who should represent Ibis now from local riders?

That's a bummer just talked to Jeff on the phone about sizing for an HD3. I'm sure somebody gobbled him up after seeing his recent video edits.

6.5 years is a great run at any company, and Jeff has certainly made a positive, lasting impact at Ibis.

He'll be missed for sure, but onwards to new adventures! May the wind be at your back Jeff KW!

Anybody hear where he's going or what he's gonna be doing? I wouldn't be surprised if he's fielding options from a number of different areas of the MTB world. More racing focus, ambassador, product development, ad/marketing side of things? Talk about making a name for yourself based on your skillset. Good for him.

If you've spoken with both of those guys you may come to the conclusion that the only thing they have in common is crazy bike handling skills. As for interpersonal skills and rapport with the MTB community, couldn't be more different.

well it says he's continuing to ride an Ibis, so clearly not going to a competitor (for now). Sounds like he got a new gig going - exciting new adventure! good luck to a great guy.

What a great guy, very humble and approachable. Will miss chatting with him at HQ. For some reason I like his vids better than Danny's, maybe cuz I've ridden most of the places he features (not like he does it goes without saying, but fun to pretend!).

Saw him today on the trails, asked if he could spill the beans on where he was headed yet, he said very soon. Such a nice guy, I'm sure there are many great things ahead for him.

Jeff K-W joins WTB's global sales team. Jeff and Jason Moeschler may be the most talented sales pair in the business. Probably doesn't hurt to hang out with Mark Weir either.

funny I didn't think WTB was that big (I know tires and the uncomfortable saddle I have from them I'm looking at replacing) vs a bike manufacturer even if Ibis is smallish. But if he races on Ibis that's really the part most consumer relate to, not the saddle or tire they use IMO.
