    Ibis tranny with belt drive?

I'm thinking about building one up singlespeed. Has anyone try the carbon drive out yet will it fit?
    Thanks

A belt would need a buckle to work with a Tranny.

You can put it on the Mojo but I don't think you can ride it on the Mojo.

Back when the Tranny was still in development, Hans posted a question here in the forum asking how many people would be interested in a belt-drive capable rear-end, so obviously they considered it. I gave my support, but apparently that wasn't enough

Funny that you should ask about this now, because I was just thinking about this again. The Tranny as a belt-drive singlespeed would be an awesomely sweet, low-maintenance ride. Maybe if there's enough interested now they'll go back and design/offer an optional replacement rear end with a split dropout? The lack of this one feature is the only thing that would make me consider anything else besides a Tranny for a new singlespeed. Probably not enough to keep me away though.

An optional rear with a split to put a belt drive on would be sweet. I'd put it on my Tranny.

Yeah....a belt-driven Tranny would further differentiate it from the competition. That would be one sweet machine.

How about a splittable 29er sized rear end? That would be cool. Multiple choice bike setups.
