    Ibis Scorcher

How much would you pay? The one I'm looking at doesn't have the original bars or stem.

Indeed, a super nice guy. I need to be more optimistic.

Nice bike too. I think the rims, and maybe even the tires were original, and possibly the crank. The hubs didn't look orig, and the bars, stem, pedals and seat were definitely not. The paint was excellent, but there were some stickers on it. They'd come off well AFAICT. I guess I'd leave the OFS chainstay sticker on it. 8^)

Over $1k's a lot for the frame and fork. I dunno. Maybe not.

Personally I'd pay about $800 for a complete bike. But that's just my opinion.

I was amazed earlier this week when I saw a small ariticle in the USA Today about the Ibis Scorcher. It was a side article to the main one about the popularity and high $ people are spending on road bikes.

In search of the Velo Llama

Wes sold his for over 2k before he split. If I had the extra $ I would have bought it.....limited edition wheeled art has value to those that value limited edition wheeled art.

If someone wants a scorcher for cheap, build one out of an old road frame like everybody else, you should be able to do it for under a hundred bucks. Hey, even add some fur
A bike by any other name is still a bike.
