Which housing to use with KS Lev Dropper?

Uncertain which housing to use with KS Lev Dropper post. 4mm Gear housing? Check out the housing provided by KS in the box - it's folded into a triangular shape, lol.

Whatever you do, do not used the housing that they provide. It tends to fold up like that even after installation.

Sorry. It works fine, why don't you want to use it?

The ferrule? Well it is 4mm housing.

I spoke to KS, was advised to leave the housing out in the sun for a few hours to soften it up, straighten it out. Seems to be working.

That's the european or old standard. It looks like a flattened disc, right? You'll have to cut the braided cable down to length, so only the end that inserts in the remote lever matters.

I can guarantee you (as I installed mine per the instructions a month or two ago), that the cable that is included with the LEV will work in standard shifter housing.

based on some shifter cables I've used, they are a molded plastic cable ferrule instead of the crimped metal ones. Makes changing the cable length more difficult, but they work OK.
