I was thinking about trying something new on my HD, anyone try the FloatX on one yet?

I have one mounted to my Yeti SB95c with a custom tune from Fox. But the bike isn't finished being built yet. I have a custom tuned Rock Shox Monarch plus on my Ibis from Suspension Experts. It's pretty amazing.

I have one for both travel configs. I've only ridden the short shock for the HD140, as I cracked my frame and I'm waiting for a replacement. Can't wait to try it in 160 mode.

I really like the float x for the Hd 140. I got it as a take off from the trance sx, so presumably a low tune? Still has that snappy feel of the short travel, but when riding hard over rough terrain (such as bombing some of my favourite Shore trails), it takes the edge of so much better than the RP23. Less harsh feeling than the monarch plus med tune as well.

The climb mode is awesome, a lot firmer than the old pro pedal, so nice to noodling up to the trails:-)
