    Five bucks a foot

This weekend is the Downieville Classic. It's one of our favorite events of the year. We're always shown a good time.

In fact, just about any non-snowy time of the year you're guaranteed a good time in Downieville, due in large part to the trailbuilding efforts of the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship.

In conjunction with the "Classic", we are participating in the latest $5 a foot campaign. Buy a foot of trail for $5, and we put your name in a hat to win a totally decked out Ibis of your choosing, in your color and size. You even get to choose your wheel size: 26:, 27.5" or 29". We'll even let you choose 650b is that's your fancy!

    Donate here.

Put it this way, lifting your finger on that mouse or trackpad is a whole lot easier than what Troy is doing in the following image:

To learn more about the fundraiser and why we at Ibis support the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship, go here.
Or go straight to the donation page.

Special thanks to our co-sponsors of this fundraiser:

    Easton
    Fox
    WTB

Awesome idea, trying to get that going here @ my club and region!
Is this a open field e.g US only or worldwide.

Cheers Scott, have fun @ Donnieville

This is open worldwide. In the fine print we say that we might ask to share some of the shipping cost if it's and overseas winner, but in any case, anybody on the planet is welcome to participate.

People, it's hard to overstate just how kick ass the SBTS folks are, and the cubic shite ton of work that they get done every year to make the greater Downieville area as awesome as it is.

And the crazy thing? It keeps getting better. Mills Peak is a stupid nice trail, and they're not even done with it.

Throw in some dough. The possibility that you could win one of the best bikes on the planet is pure gravy. Worth it on every level.

What a great way to get involved Scot.
I have an HDR 650b on order so getting another one sent down here to New Zealand after I win it will be perfect.

Join the last one but did not win. Will be joining this one again and I hope I'll get luck this time and a new HD-R will be sent here in the Philippines.

    Just bought two.

I sort of feel all warm & fuzzy inside thinking there is 2 feet of trail on the other side of the world with my name on it, Awesome!

    Grateful NorCal resident

Seems as if this is becoming an annual event! Thanks ibis and thanks everyone else for supporting our local trails! All of you folks across the planet owe it to yourselves to make the trek out here sometime. Downieville is a little piece of paradise.

25ft donated to the cause. Seems like a win/win situation.
