    DT Swiss fork owners..

What do you guys use to mount your bikes onto your car?

I'm currently using Velvet forks but looking to change to EXM150's, however I'm using a Thule 561 fork mount rack as you can't clamp the downtube, but reading DT Swiss documentation you can't mount the forks in a roof clamp.

Trying to work out if its just being overly protective warranty wise or if its a real issue.

    Thanks

I don't know this for sure as I use a Thule T2 that clamps over the wheel but I would think you would be able to use a Fork Up from Hurricane Components. They make a 15mm conversion (I assume your old fork was a QR?).

Thule Helium 3 or Helium 2. (requires a hitch) The bike has to be mounted with the downtube instead of toptube on the metal bars. With a bungee cord holding the front wheel to the rack it's completely secure.

I'm using a Thule 916XTR T2 with my Ibis Mojo SL with the DT swiss EXC 150, 15TA. Works fantastic. Clamps down on the front tire, and straps on the rear tire. Very secure with two bikes!

    Good luck!
