    DT Swiss conversion for 12x142

    Hi Guys,

I've been scouring DT's site and a plethora of others trying to get the correct information about converting my hub.

I have a DT Swiss 240S rear hub with 135x10mm through bolt axle currently.HD uses a 12x142mm maxle, so I need the correct conversion for such.

Can anyone point me to the correct kit? Do I need just end caps, or the axle as well?

    Thanks

    EDIT:

Looks like I just need Part # HWGXXX0002193C as I have the newer 240S with 12mm axle.

How about for the older style hub? What kit can I use? maybe HWYXXX002877c? Anyone know the difference between the older/newer hub?

Older style 240 rear hub (it will have silver lettering on the hub sticker) needs the full kit - ie. axle and and caps. The newer style hub (with white sticker lettering) only requires the end caps.

Thanks, its because the axle is only 10mm I.D. and the newer one come with a 12mm I think.
I cant find the kit in stock anywhere....

    .
Old thread I know, but my older style with the silver label has an axle that is 11.8mm internal diameter ... that's pretty loose if it's nominally ''10mm ID'', but then it's too small for a 142x12 if a 142x12 is actually 12mm diameter ...

Looks like an axle and end cap kit of me.
