Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! DBinline recall: affects any size shock, including Ripleys and HDs and HDRs

As it turns out, my DBinline on my HD is included in the recall:
Cane Creek Recalls Bicycle Shocks Due to Risk of Injury | CPSC.gov

An easy phone call to CC yielded them sending me a decal that shows the correct direction of the + and - on the HSR. I know this impacts some Ripleys and most likely some HDs and HDRs, so I figured to share the word.

This may or may not impact your shock settings, so just a head's up.

    Contact info:
Cane Creek Cycling Components at (844) 490-3663 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday)

Interesting. I got a Ripley with a DB Inline last month and kept it at the recommended Ripley settings. I noticed that it was kind of bouncing/bucking a bit recently and was thinking I needed to play with the rebound settings - wonder if maybe this is why.

It's a pity that the shock doesn't randomly explode. that way the scumbag that stole my HD could get their junk blown off!

Squidonagixxer: how did you like the Inline on your HD (sorry to hear about the theft)?
