Chris King hub for Ripley what color?

I bought a Ripley last fall and haven't had a chance to ride it. Got it in November and the Michigan winter has been brutal. I want to change out the stock hubs for some Kings. My bike is the black with neon green color scheme. Not really a big fan of black to blah. But I looked on the King website and there green is not neon more forest green. Any suggestions on color would be helpful. If you have King's on your bike in a color you think works please post pics. I have the stock XT build with a Fox dropper post being the only addition. Black Stan Arch rims.

    Thanks,

    Chuck

I'm post #214 on the build thread...I got the King headset in the green. The close-to match was better than full-contrast shock. I will add hubs and bottom bracket in their green down the road. I was fortunate to be able to tour their facility when I got the headset, so I hope these pictures can help.

The green looks good. I had a set of red CK's on my Tallboy and pulled them off and put them on my new blue Ripley. I also have red, gold, blue and mango on various bikes. I think the gold would also look good on your bike.

Gold would look pretty cool if you have Fox Kashima coated fork and shock.

This is the bike. Probably go with the Gold suggestion but what about blue to match the fork caps?

Hmmm not feeling the blue hubs. I think black or pewter hubs if you want to play it safe, gold if you want bling. Throw in a set on gold ano grip clamps, gold chain and a gold seat post collar as well.... :-)
