Chainring for E*Thirteen 1x11 on Ripley

Just picked up a Ripley with a X01 kit which came with an E*Thirteen crank and 32T chainring. I'd much prefer a 30T chainring (lots of climbing here in the Colorado front range) and my LBS offered to swap it out, except that apparently E*Thirteen is out of 30T rings and has no idea when they're going to be available again.

Are any other manufacturer's chainrings compatible? Anyone have any info on when E*Thirteen will have 30T rings available? I'd be perfectly happy with another kind of 30T chainring as long as it was good quality and worked with the E*Thirteen cranks.

    Thanks...

I've been using a Race Face narrow wide 30 tooth on my eThirteen cranks with no problem. I have a 1x10 setup, but they are compatable with 1x11 as well...

Is that a direct mount chain ring?

Not a direct mount. I got one of these:

    Race Face

I've maybe dropped a chain 2 or 3 times- otherwise it's been flawless.

My point was if he has a 1x11 Ripley build with the E13 crank he most likely has a direct mount chain ring. I'd be surprised if the splines match Race Race.

Yeah, that's my basic question. Not sure if I have other options or have to wait on E*Thirteen.

You can buy a direct mount 30t from the e13 website, or are they out of stock?

It looks to me that e13 has them available on the store at the Hive. The store does show some things as out of stock, but the particular 30t direct mount guidering (as they call the 1x chainring with narrow/wide teeth) shows as available.

I just checked the site, the 30T direct mount guidering is showing as out of stock.

That's what I'm doing now. It works, but for someone with questionable knees and a history of back issues, having a lower gear really helps with those long rides with a lot of climbing.

This is what I put on mine Guidering M Direct Mount | the hive
went with the 28T. I ran the 30T for a while and found it was just a touch high on the gear ratio my old knees. Only issue now is the loss of top end which is no big deal enjoy your X1 setup.

You could get an e13 spider and any 30t guidering. Personally i use the 28t direct mount guidering, and i dont think going from 32t to 30t makes enough difference.
