Which chain guide do I want?

    Hi folks,

I'm going to make the jump to 1x10. Was curious which chain guide will work best for me.

I have a Shimano SLX crankset with the 22/36/bash combo. 11-36 in the rear. Planning to go 32 in the front. Thanks for your input.

This one, It's made specifically for the HD. Buy it direct from Ibis.

Thanks man. That's the one I was checking out. Wasn't sure if I wanted the Lopes guide instead

I'm about to switch to a 1x10 setup on my HD. I'm running the XTR Shadow + rear derailleur so I'm going to run without the chain guide to start but if it becomes an issue I'm going with the HD specific one from ibis.

I am running a 32T 1x10 with an MRP 1x guide and a shadow plus on my Tranny. No more dropped chains/suck.

I have been running the XTR Shadow plus on my HD with the Ibis/MRP G2 guide with the lower roller/guide removed. The drivetrain is pretty quiet and I have had no dropped chains. I like this setup because you don't get the perceived drag of the lower roller when climbing for an hour.
The only reason I wound up with this setup was because my chain lube of choice ate through the plastic of the lower roller guide. OOOPS!

I'm running a 1x10 with a 34t chain ring, Shadow Plus med. rear and E.13 1X direct mount chain guide and I've dropped the chain twice - I'm going to the Lopes MRP guide. Hopefully, that'll keep my chain on.
