    Carbon Clear Coat Finish Polish?

    Hey all!

'09 Mojo owner getting ready to replace frame bearings and rebuild everything. Also wanting to clean up the original clear coat carbon finish. I searched and didn't find anything useful.

Anyone have any success stories adding new life to their clear coat?

    Thanks,
    Ted

    OK I have an idea...

Does anyone have any thoughts on using a car headlight lens polisher kit?

If you still have clear coat left on the frame (i.e. it is not chipped down to the carbon) you can simply wet sand and buff it like scratches in car paint. If you need to add some material, there are some rattle can clear coats that works well. Treat it like painting a car - sand with fine grit, apply, sand again, re-apply, wet sand, buff. Lots of work.
