... two years old, but with some custom modifications. Have you noticed the difference?
Yellowish wheels on the picture are only the second pair, so please no comments on that
Just curious, who makes those gold rims?
Looks really good on an all black Mojo.
Those rims are Mavic XC317 from app 2001-2002, they are in fact citron-greenish/gold colour. I use them as a second pair of wheels on my Lefty build Jekyll and Mojo. Still going strong (xc riding) after all this years.
So, the 2011 Fox Float RLC Fit 15mm just came in yesterday from Fox which was the final piece to my Mojo SL. I think it all turned out well, as every component was carefully thoughtout. As pictured it weighs in at 23lbs 15oz.
Whoa, 24lbs that's very good. My regular XL Mojo comes at 28lbs even though I have XTR hubs/ XTR 180mm rotors/XTR derailers/XTR shifters, Noir carbon cranks (lighter than XTR) with 2 rings+carbon bash, Magura marta SL brakes, carbon light DH bar, fitzik seat post, thomson elit post and stem, egg beatters (regular) clip. damm... don't know where I could loose 4lbs. Ok fork is Revelation 150 uturn maxle (4.1lb with axel) and 819 mavic rims (likely heavier) with 2.35 El Moco F, and 2.1 cross mark R running tubeless.... still, that a big difference.

Big weight difference in your tires. You could inflate them with helium though, to compensate.

Wow, sub 24# with real wheels, grips, seat, etc.... that XX must be as light as they say.... the tires and pedals wouldn't last a week on the local loose rock, over sharp rock, over rock ledges though.
Super sweet build...enjoy it!
Thanks-- I just got back from my first ride and I am glad I got the Large-- The bike fits perfectly....Can't believe how well this thing tracks and climbs, not to mention how fast it goes down hill! So awesome.....Here's a pic from after the inaugural ride...We're having sunny 50's here in Portland, which is unheard of for February- woohoo!
Mine is going to look very similar, a lower kit but same links and stuff.
Maybe we can ride together and be the two amigos?
If only there was a third person with a matte clear SL...
I thought I would share my new ride that I just put into service today. I retired my ETSX 70 and after much deliberation and test riding of many frames I have decided on the MOJO SL in white. I have included my components spec as well as some pictures.

I did my first ride tonight and after a few adjustments to the drive train and some fiddling with the shock pressure I am ready to head out to the mountains. The bike feels great, climbs excellent and goes down hill much better than my ETSX ever did. This bike is going to get me into trouble I mean serious fun.
