If you're looking for a one of a kind IBEX:

There is one 07' Asta test bike with full XTR drivetrain / brakes and hubs..(mavic rim)

The first 08' Ignition-1 (the one from the photo opp and test)

A couple 06' Apogee framesets that are being built up..

    Call IBEX: 1-888-741-1464

Information is from a long conversation I had with Jack this morning..

I was just about to post some of this because I got an email from them last night. Thanks Jake. they said the pre-order price for the sport will be $699. I don't have the advanced order prices on the other models because I did not inquire about those specifically. They will open them up for advance purchase in about a week or two.

What, are you reading my mind..If so I better watch what's in there..

The "new" 09' Atlas frame is still not finalised..Word is, single pivot with 6" travel via TA fork..Jacks waiting on a frame to build up and test..Hopefully a release date of before spring..

Man - I'm tempted by that Asta, too and I've been trying to stay away from the FS bikes...just to keep it simple, you see. Sounds like now I want to complicate things.

Last time I spoke to Jack, he was talking about a single pivot with 6.5" or something with AM/FR geometry. He should have the prototype by now and might pass on some porn soon maybe... XD

The Atlas frame is being designed with a 160mm (6.3") TA fork in mind..When on the phone, Jack said the frame was in the Pacific somewhere on an old boat with ores..(cutting cost)

Six months ago we discussed overall price increase on the 09's and 10% was the math at the time..Sorry to report it will be closer to a 20% rise on all brands..Components, aluminum tubing and shipping are at an all time high

    The 08' line-up consisted of 6 hardtails, (3-ALPs / 2-Trophies / 1-29er) the 09's will likely decrease to only 3 hardtails (2-ALPs and 1-Trophy)..

The 29er has been taken into consideration as a 4" travel D/S for late 2009/10 (still in the thinking stage)..

Nothing is etched in stone but this is basically what is on Jack's plate as of this morning..

Would love to see something with long sexay legs but the number of sales just wont justify that yet. The 4" DS though is something I feel has a lot of potential kinda a overbuilt Asta. That said it could be a good entry level heavy duty bike with the potential to grow as the rider progresses. The learning to ride, stunt or bomb riders are usually more severe on a frame/bike than a experienced rider would be.

Holy shlamoly, me likey. That's some good stuff. I like the offering of the upper end Iggy. Suprised to see that rear shock w/ the rest of the components spec though. Any word on changes in the Asta line. I'm feeling XCish this year.
Shut up and enjoy the ride!
