Building up Ignition Frame - need help on shock mount

So I probably got one of the last Ignition frames to be sold as a frame only. Finally got around today of disassembling my San Andreas and moving all the components over to the Ignition, but I don't get the shock mount.

I assume I have to get some new hardware to mount the shock - a Cane Creek Cloud Nine. I was hoping someone might have a picture of the upper mount and how that works -- it's so wide, that I just don't quite get it, and wonder if I"m missing something.

Would be cool if anyone has a picture of their shock mounted up close I could see.

    Thanks.

BTW - building it as a 1 x 9 -- so the front derailer hitting the frame shouldn't be an issue. Will have to harden up on the steeper climbs to make em on a 32 tooth ring.

MT - thanks for the pic. I figured it would be something like that, but having the visual helps tons.

Just found one but the spacer on the bushing is stuck on because it looks to have been smacked but it should still work.

Thanks guys...i'll see what my local shop has first. They have a whole wall of miscellaneous parts and I bet they have something that will work.

I have no idea what's happening in this thread, but if the brunette with the shovel is free to help with my bike, send her my way.

    back on topic:

you are building 1 X 9, what are your plans for a chain-retention device? I'm using a black-spire Stinger, but I had to modify it with a Dremel tool to make it fit the frame......so far I have mixed results (I still lose the chain at least once every ride)

if it works then its a job well done!
I modified an old mrp sandwich guide dog gave me to fit a smaller diameter guard and brought the wheels in to they wouldnt contact the frame. dont have pictures of it though

Yeah I shortened my chain,,,,,and yeah, the chain comes off when it enters the largest sprocket......I love your solution...pure genious....I love it.....its f**'g ugly, but it works.....

I'm gonna try one other "prettier" home-made solution but if that doesn't work I'll be going through my wife's silver-ware......

Well my chain-retention system on my 1X9 Iggy actually works......went for a ride on one of my nastiest trails and no matter how hard I tried, not one dropped chain over the course of the entire 20 mile ride...

I was hoping it would fail miserably and give me the excuse to go the silverware route.........I was even eyeing one already and actually hid it in the garage from my wife......
