Building up Ignition Frame - need help on shock mount

So I probably got one of the last Ignition frames to be sold as a frame only. Finally got around today of disassembling my San Andreas and moving all the components over to the Ignition, but I don't get the shock mount.

I assume I have to get some new hardware to mount the shock - a Cane Creek Cloud Nine. I was hoping someone might have a picture of the upper mount and how that works -- it's so wide, that I just don't quite get it, and wonder if I"m missing something.

Would be cool if anyone has a picture of their shock mounted up close I could see.

    Thanks.

BTW - building it as a 1 x 9 -- so the front derailer hitting the frame shouldn't be an issue. Will have to harden up on the steeper climbs to make em on a 32 tooth ring.

Sleeves and spacers on each side. I've seen links to places to get the correct spacers posted but I don't know where they are.
This should help you see what you're up against anyway.

Just found one but the spacer on the bushing is stuck on because it looks to have been smacked but it should still work.

Thanks guys...i'll see what my local shop has first. They have a whole wall of miscellaneous parts and I bet they have something that will work.

I have no idea what's happening in this thread, but if the brunette with the shovel is free to help with my bike, send her my way.

    back on topic:

you are building 1 X 9, what are your plans for a chain-retention device? I'm using a black-spire Stinger, but I had to modify it with a Dremel tool to make it fit the frame......so far I have mixed results (I still lose the chain at least once every ride)

I'll assume that you shortened the chain already. Probably loosing the chain as it enters the sprocket?

I don't consider myself an aggressive rider at all but I do ride real bumpy stuff. I haven't dropped my chain yet.

All I'm using is a butchered table spoon held in place by a hose clamp. It was only going to be for me to TRY a 1x9 setup and I fully intended to change it but I haven't had to. If you use something like it in combination with your stinger I can't see how it could fail.
