    language / slang ?

    when i was in hawaii , in the early 70s the locals there use to call us white people a name. does anyone know what that was? i cant for the life of me remember what it was . im writing a paper about my three years there and could use some help, thanks

    Dang I just biked Peacock Flats yesterday and I saw more ppl than ever. Here's the run down. Several Boyscouts, a father and two boys, two wahine w/ 4 dogs, a mother w/ her daughter and this dood running butt ass neked, running shoes, no water, no clothes, I sad "hey" to the dood and he snubbed me. HA! It was great ride and its good know this old fella can still get up that hill with no breaks!

    haha Haole.. I was one of only like 3 white kids in my school when I lived there..

    Can anyone tell me if, and I have no idea how to spell this.... Buhla Eya (Boolah Eeyah, phonetically) the Samoan guy with the Fro and blacked out front tooth is still kickin?

    Thats my man, I remember watching his public access show when I was younger, no doubt that this guy is a doofus, funny nonetheless.

    Trddave, how old are you? there where only three white kids in my school also. dad was stationed in kaneohe bay but we lived off base for awhile waiting for base housing. this was in the early 70's .

    Wow, when I was in high school had loaded da kine...........but den I was at Leilehua so we had loaded military up dea.
