Bavarian Mountain Bikers in Hawaii

Greetings,

we are two Bavarian Mountain Bike Guides who like to spend the snowy winter in warmer spots. This year (after New Zealand, Canary Islands, Moab, Fruita, Crested Bute, ...) we
opt for the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. As always, our theme is to ride the sweetest
singletrack available in our destination spot. We will arrive December 8 and depart Dec 29.
We'd love to meet some local riders and go for a ride with them.
We have not yet finalized the Islands we will be visiting. Currently Big Island,
Maui, Oahu and Molokai are on the top of our list.
We will bring our 6 inch travel All Mountain / Enduro full suspension bikes and
are ready for serious ascents as well as flowy to technical singletracks.
Our home terrain are the Bavarian, Austrian, Italian and Swiss alps where we put
in days with up to 10000 ft uphill and serious technical downhill as well as the
coastal trails of Italiy's finale ligure (where Silvia usually wins the 24h solo singletrack race)
and La Palma (Canary Islands).
In Bavaria we are based in Munich, adrenaline capital of Germany.

We are looking for info that will help us find the right islands for our 3 week Hawaii
adventure as well as for local riders who would go riding with us.

It would be great if you could give us advice or take us for a ride.

Best to check Facebook - Maui Mountain Bike Alliance - for Maui connections, we have a holiday ride party planned for the 15th at Makawao Forest.
Instead of Molokai look into riding Lanai.
