    02/27/10 Tsunami warning!

Due to the Chile earthquake there is a tsunami watch here in Hawaii.

Yeah we've been put on notice here in little old NZ as well and islands in the surrounding pacific.

Expectin up to 1m waves in most coastal places and 3m possible in some of the surrounding islands.

Its not the size of the wave but the amount of water behind the face and the speed it travels, which catches people out.

I just hope the idiots don;t go down to the beach like usual to watch it come in, even if its nothing civil defense and others have enough to do with out rubber neckers causing more logistical problems.

Sad for Chille and others hope you guy's go well in Hawaii and other area's be safe and stay off the beaches
    Just riding a muddy trail. . ..

Yes, very few trails in the evacuation zone here on Maui. Now about the harbor, airport and powerplant, that's another story....

The riding was awesome out here up in Kalopa. The trails were incredibly dry and clear.
