Nice bike. I think your going to get a lot of use out of it. I don't think there are a lot of porter riders on the this board. But I'll get some pics of my me on my Thread riding Pump track a bit later. Congratulations again.

Thanks for the link dogon... Now I'm even more stoked. The bike should be here in a week or so, and i should get to ride it on some small jumps next Saturday. I'll post pics when I have it built.

I have a 120mm x fusion rear shock, and a 100mm zocchi 4x fork. It was pretty much the cheapest build the seller could throw together for me, so in the next few months I'll be lookin at a new fox fork and probably a new wheelset (light blue outlaws?)

dude I can't sleep cause I'm so excited...

Atenciole can't wait to see you pics... My friend and I may build a pumptrack in his yard. I'll have pics up later...

Nice pumptracks... My friend and I have a cool line in the works that's including sone rollers and pumtrack(ish) features, some small jumps, and hopefully a nice sized gap. We have a roller in, and then as a test we set up a plastic jump into a bermed landing. The angle is set up so you have to whip the to the right, and then you land on the side of the berm. I have a video I'll post later. Now that the angles are right we are makin it all bigger.

How much would renting a bobcat help? My friend and I are poor highschool students (I work, but spent my bank on my new porter) so we are thinking about saving to rent one for a day.

Later I'll post pics of my new bike, some jumps, and some vids I made. I probably shouldn't have hit the biggest jump so fast. I landed the first three (off balance on all three) and the forth I way overshot the landing, and was off to the right, so when I landed my front wheel knifed and I did a few good cartwheels. My right knee got to meet the new frame (very forcefully) so I'm notriding as hard for a day or two.

Does anyone have problems jumping a new bike? I was jumping an 02 intense m1 before this, so I'm guessing coming off a 40lbs bike that is a lot taller and has 9in travel, and switching to a sub 40 lbs bike that is very low and slack is what caused me to be less comfortable and ultimately crash... Worst news is I didn't catch the crash on film. Thanks heavens for helmets, I crushed my dome...

If your working on a budget dont worry about a Bob Cat just build. If you need to whack weeds make a mix of dry weeds and mud to create mortar for the berms, they hold up a little better.

My friend thinks we need to mix concrete in with the sort for it to hold better. I heard kitty litter help. The best... Either way we will try the weed method.

Ihave some pics, just to lazy to post em lol.. I'll try to get them up before I go to sleep.

    Oh, and my beauty...

Heres the bike, these are old pics before i got the shifter set up and routed correctly... i have my brake and shifter cable taped together in case i ever feel like busting a bar spin (lol yea right, maybe in a few months)

I turned up the saturation on the last picture to make the yellow gravity logo "pop"

my friend pretty much dosent want a pumptrack, he likes jumps, so we are planning a pump jump line... I think so far we have a roller into a small jump, a few berms, a few more rollers, and some bigger jumps (like the one in the picture).

Oh yea, I foun out the frame is really strong. I landed nose heavy on my 4th jump, my front tire knifed violently to the left, and thank goodness for my fullface or I woulda smashed my dome. Lol it was my first decent crash in a while. I guess I wen to big on a brand new bike too fast...

I'll get up some pics of the stuff we build Saturday. I have an SAT test in the mornin, but after that it's all building....

You have enough room so yoou can do a wild mix of everything. D the pump track in a oval then put a X in the middle so you can figure 8 and mix it up. Off on the side you can put a set of jumps going down then into a berm and back to jumps. If you get really exciting you could have the jumps close enough to cross over onto the PT or the PT to jumps, the designs are endless.
