Awesome!!! looks like youv been havin fun in the silt.

If your not to good on the wrenching take it to a LBS and have them shorten or replace the cables and housings they are way long especially the front brake. What brand brakes?? they look like Hayes.

Here is my newish Haro Flightline Comp. I am very impressed with it as it rides very well. They are quite rare in the UK. I am going for the rasta look with mudguards lol.

Not near a computer to post my sled but it's a Haro VL, blown up for full freeride. I'm glad there is a thread on this subject. My bike can take any dh trail all the drops and hucks I've shoved it into . I'll get back at this thread.

Old School Haro Extreme Comp Single Speed / Fixed Conversion

This is my Haro Extreme Comp MTB. I bought it new back about 1990. I had it for a few years and sold it, then bought it back a few years later. Sometime later it got stolen. A while after that I was in my car and saw the thief riding the opposite way down the road on it. I turned around and gave chase, caught up with him and ran him down, got out of the car and reclaimed my bike. Now that was a rush! We've been together ever since.
The only original part is the frame. Everything else is brand new. I could have bought a complete new bike for the money I've spent but I just love the ride. This is my commuter bike now. I have a full sus MTB for the weekends.
Spec:- White Industries eccecentric flip flop fixed / free wheel rear hub, Easton Carbon Forks, Chris King Head Set, Thomson Stem, Spank Riser Bar, Paul RH brake lever, Brick Lane Bikes Crank, Track Peddles & Front Hub, Deep V's Front & Rear, Half Link chain, San Marco Seat.

Looks like a standard 22t granny and normal middle ring? The X series frames are designed for a long travel fork.

I think what he meant by the fork was that the zip tie is pushed all the way up, therefore looking like he has bottomed out the fork.

    What rcmaster1029 said.

I guess jadriver & dunerinaz feel that is proper fork set-up. Pogo on.

Escape 8.3. From what I hear these are not made anymore. Anyone know the year? I think it's an '03.
