Pivit 32X Dbl Wall on Haro Escape 8.2 - 2005

    Hi Guys,

I have been trying to find some feedback on this Rim. I don't know much about Pivit components and there is nothing on the web!! I beleive is owned by SRAM but then again not sure.

How strong is this rim, how much abuse can it take? Would it be suitable for heave Freeride? Any comments?

    Thanks!!!

36 spoke are better but I've ridden 32H of various types. If you can manage your landing somewhat you should be fine for awhile.

I'd agree with Cascade...a 36h rim is going to be better suited to freeriding. Rim life depends a lot on how much you weigh, how smooth you ride, the terrain, etc.

The Pivit 32 hole rims are a nice, general purpose double wall rim made in a factory that makes rims for many other manufacturers.

Thanks for all the information guys!! I am looking to upgrade rims on another bike and I was thinking on taking the 32X form the Haro and putting in into my dual suspension bike. I guess I am better of getting myself stronger rims. Looking at the Azonic Outlaw.....
