Well, i have no input on the fork as i haven't ridden yet. It seemed to fit my budget and riding style. I'm coming from an oem marzocchi mz comp. I'm sure i'll be pleased.

I wish that area were mine. A good friend runs a local shop, so he's helping me spend money. Props to him for working with haro and being patient with my inability to make a final decision.

Yup! It's already been shortened. The bars and stem were carried over from my old bike. I'd like to get a ride or two in, so I can determine if going with a shorter stem and wider bars is the way to go . Think maybe a 70mm no rise stem and a 710 to 730mm wide 1" rise bars. What do you think?

    Cooleo

Personally I like 65-70mm stem length seems to be the sweet spot for all around riding. Bars would go with a 1/2" rise FR which are wings but you can cut them down with a pipe cutter, my current bars are 28 1/4" wide which is a tad over 710mm. All this sizing stuff is personal feel for rider and type of riding. The thing that cracks me up the most is coming from a moto background since the late '70's the mtb faze is fallowing it but many many years later.

Going to a lower bars puts more weight on the front for cornering, wider bars more stability at speed, shorter stem quicker reaction. Then you get to factor in the frame geo, wheels, tires blablablabla just go ride an have a blast set it up so you keep grinnin
