Haro Mary SS frame measurement question

    Hi,

My apologies if this has been asked before. I did do a search, couldn't find anything though.

How do Haro measure farmes? Is it from the center of the BB to the center of the top tube or top of seat tube?

    Nice one

Generally its to the TT at the SA which is usually the lowest point on the frame

Thanks dogonfr, I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question.

Does "SA" mean seat angle? If so I think the 16" will be a perfect fit for me (which is the only size I can find) She's such a bargain too! I can't find another bike of similar spec anywhere near the price of Mary.

Hopefully I'll be posting in the Haro Mary thread soon.

    Thanks Again,

Yupperz you got it SA=Seat Amgle

Keep in mind the seat tube to nose of seat overhangs that point about 6" ,plus if you SO "Stand Over" the TT it going up so its actually less SO.

Bloody hell I'll need a degree in trigonometry to understand all these angles

I'm new to the 29" scene, so I'm not too sure about SO. Am I right in assuming a 29er will add and extra 1.5" to the SO? I've been riding Single Speed for over 2 years and love the simplicity and think the Mary is perfect for my needs. Just want to make sure that she's a good fit before I commit to buying without being able to take her for a testride.

I'm 5' 10" with a 32" inseam and tend to like my trail bikes a little on the smaller side, do you think the 16" mary will be a good fit for me?

    Thanks for the hep dogonfr,

you'll make it through all that number an angle carp.

Check over at the 29er site for the frame sizing I have not ventured into that area yet, at 5'7 the small 26" wheel size bike are flickable for me making the perfect fun size. If I was to do something like XC a medium would be a better fit, im kinda inbetween frame sizes and flickable fun is my riding.
